GET INVOLVED
Children are the next generation of our church, so we want to partner with parents to help them raise their children to be devoted followers of Christ. While we offer many different programs and opportunities to help disciple children, we believe in family structure and the relationships parents have with their own kids.
Approximately 70% of Americans who come to Christ do so between the ages of 4 and 14. With that in mind, we want to invest as much as we can into kids during this window of time. 4-14 offers classes during both Sunday gathering times for newborns through 4th grade. These classes are broken down in smaller age groups to help engage with kids better. We also value partnering with parents, so we send kids home with a summary of what they learned each week for the parents to be able to continue to teach and reinforce.
We value and care for teenagers as well. On Sunday mornings at 9:00 we have a class for 5th – 8th graders. Each week they get donuts and a time to study God’s word together. While we believe in offering age-specific classes, we also value parents knowing what is best for their kids, including when to transition them into our normal Sunday gatherings.
We encourage high school aged students to attend our normal gatherings and volunteer through different Sunday Serve or Kids’ ministry opportunities.
